"That confidence didn't exist before AHA."
Gabriela Despues
In Gabriela's own words.
"Joining the After Hours Accelerator was one of the best investments I've made in my career."
Joining the After Hours Accelerator was one of the best investments I've made in my career. I entered the program wanting to take UGC more seriously again, but what I gained went far beyond that. Mehr helped me fully step into my confidence as a Creative Strategist and see my skills as valuable, scalable, and worth charging for. Before AHA, I honestly wasn't sure I even needed mentorship. I had been in the space for years and thought I knew what I was doing. What I didn't realize was how much imposter syndrome was holding me back and how much money and opportunity I was leaving on the table by not applying my knowledge strategically or advocating for myself. Mehr's guidance pushed me to pursue Creative Strategy roles I wouldn't have gone after otherwise, and that shift completely changed my career trajectory. The weekly mentorship was the biggest differentiator. Having dedicated time to ask questions, get real feedback, and talk through decisions made everything click in a way no course or community ever had. It's one thing to be told "know your worth" and another to have someone help you actually apply that in real situations, especially when it comes to pricing, positioning, and navigating opportunities. Even during a period where I wasn't posting consistently due to interviews and a job transition, I continued to receive inbound brand deals and confidently pitched higher rates. I recently quoted $800 for one video and three hooks, and the brand accepted without hesitation. That confidence didn't exist before AHA. I almost didn't join because of finances, but committing to the program felt like committing to myself and where I wanted to go long-term. Since joining, I've landed a new CS role, expanded my skill set, and now approach opportunities with clarity and confidence instead of fear. Mehr's mentorship, honesty, and support made a lasting impact on both my career and mindset. I'm incredibly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and space to grow through every stage.
