From guessing to a clear brand.

The struggle01

She was taking whatever jobs she could get.

Kylabefore AHA

"I was doing a lot of cold pitching, applying on UGC platforms, and honestly taking whatever jobs I could get, like 50 bucks here or tons of gifted collabs."

She was on Billo, Backstage and Cohley, earning $987 a month part time.

  • Every concept was taking her 6 hours.
  • She was juggling a full-time 9-5, solo parenting two teenagers some weeks, and UGC.
The turning point03

A brand googled her and found her.

Kyladuring AHA

"I even had a brand reach out to me after literally telling me they googled me and found that my personal brand was clear. That has never happened before."

She said $525 for one video and the brand said yes, and she logged four inbounds between February 21 and 26.

Kylaon AHA

"If I hadn't joined AHA, I'd probably have quit and burnt out."

"The program didn't just change the way I create content, it changed the way I see and embrace myself."

Kyla Scott
In her words06 / 06

In Kyla's own words.

"The program really trained my brain to think like a creative strategist."

I would give the AHA program a 5 out of 5 based on the materials, explanations, and resources that Mehr created and gave us lifetime access to. I came into the program with no background in creative strategy, scripting, or marketing, and now I can clearly understand what brands and creative strategists are looking for. The program really trained my brain to think like a creative strategist, from building scripts to identifying frameworks and understanding why certain ads perform better than others. Before AHA, I had zero knowledge of any of this, and the way the lessons and exercises were explained made it easy to follow and apply in real time. Being able to work through exercises and get feedback helped everything click much faster. Another part of the program that was extremely helpful was the personal branding work. This was actually one of my personal goals coming into the program, and it helped me embrace my own identity more instead of trying to create content that I thought brands wanted. The process was very personalized, and it helped me understand my pillars, what I want my content to reflect, and what I want to be known for. Because of that, I feel more confident showing up as myself, and I've seen that I can attract brands just by leaning into my personality and my real life instead of trying to fit into a certain mold. That shift alone made a huge difference for me. The accountability in the program was also very strong. For me personally, it was a stressful time because I was juggling a full-time 9-5 job, solo parenting two teenagers throughout some weeks, interviewing for a potential new role, and completing over 10 creator jobs in January while also trying to keep up with the coursework. There were definitely moments where I felt overwhelmed, but the structure, accountability, and support from Mehr and her team kept me moving forward. Overall, the program pushed me way outside of my comfort zone in the best way, not just in my work but also in my confidence. I feel much more clear on who I am as a creator, how to think strategically, and how to present myself as a creator.
