The story03 / 06

From talking to the abyss to knowing her worth.

The struggle01

Posting felt like talking to the abyss.

Saarabefore AHA

“Posting generally felt like talking to the abyss and I had no idea what was happening with my personal brand. I only knew how to make content look pretty but I didn’t actually know if it was effective or not.”

She had been looking for mentorship for almost a year, while averaging $929 a month part time.

Where she started02

Every concept was taking her 6 hours.

  • Her average deal brought in $433.
  • The most she had been paid for one video was $400.
  • She felt she had to accept every opportunity out of fear that another one wouldn’t come.
The turning point03

She raised her rate with Native and got scared.

Saaraduring AHA

“I was kind of scared after I raised my rates with Native from 400 -> 750 (+ raw footage) during AHA because I didn’t know if they’d stop messaging me bc I’d be more expensive... and then it was a dry spell after so I got a lot more worried.”

Then Native came back to her with an offer for the video alone.

Saaraduring AHA

“Anyway, guess what! They just came to me for a $800 inbound for JUST the video and not even raw footage.”

What we did together04

We gave her the skills and the confidence to negotiate.

  • Marketing, psychology, sales and creative strategy, and how they all work together.
  • Scripting and negotiation, so she feels confident in her scripts and knows her worth.
  • A framework for building a personal brand, so UGC supports her brand instead of feeling like she has to choose between the two.
  • The confidence to walk away, because she knows her rates.
  • Her concept time went from 6 hours to 3 hours per creative, and her average deal went up to $488, while she was still wrapping up older, lower paying collabs.

In her words06 / 06

In Saara’s own words.

“I’d recommend AHA to anyone who wants more than surface-level advice.”

Before AHA, I had been looking for mentorship for almost a year because I felt like I was posting without really understanding what was working or why. I knew how to make content look good, but I didn’t know how to build a personal brand or tell if my content was actually effective. AHA gave me clarity around so much more than UGC. I learned about marketing, psychology, sales, creative strategy, scripting, negotiation, and how all of those skills work together. It helped me figure out how UGC could support my personal brand instead of feeling like I had to choose between the two. The biggest shift has been my confidence. I understand my value, I’m more comfortable negotiating, and I no longer feel like I have to accept every opportunity out of fear that another one won’t come. I’d recommend AHA to anyone who wants more than surface-level advice. It challenges you, gives you real support, and leaves you with skills and resources you can continue using long after the program ends.
